I do not miss corporate IT work. Even after getting my engineering degree and being hired as an "engineer", 70-90% of my work STILL ended up being some facet of IT. And inevitably, too often I felt like glorified tech support.

But working for myself, I'm losing that previous resentment of IT tasks. For me, there's a big difference when you get to work your own projects instead of someone else's. Of course, that still doesn't stop my FAMILY from treating me like their on-demand tech support... 😏
