I have the same issue... sometimes I have a storyline planned weeks in advance, and then comes along holiday that I feel compelled to acknowledge. Sometimes I do and shoehorn something in the middle (like the recent Thanksgiving). And sometimes I say, "Eh, screw it".

This coming Christmas feels like an "Eh, screw it" sort of situation for me. 😉
