One of the better suppositions I've heard (via interviews with Pippa Malmgren) was that Trump's likely intention (even as far back as 2016) is to capitalize on his exposure as presidential candidate (and later, president) to create a new news media empire to rival CNN & Fox. With as badly as most of the media has embarrassed themselves with their behavior and predictions this election cycle, I'd say it's a prime opportunity for him.

If so, expect him to do mostly the things that would contribute to that effort. Maybe declassify certain intelligence articles that would embarrass existing news empires and any political opponents that he feels "robbed him". Unfortunately, IMO pardons for any of the above are unlikely unless there's potential to embarrass his adversaries, and the only one that seems to have any chance of that is Assange.
