I think I was one of the very few among my friends that DIDN'T have a Magic deck. I played it a handful of times and found it entertaining, but something held me back from getting into it. Mighta been some instinct that my college studies would suffer (Magic and later World of Warcraft did that to a number of friends). But it was PROBABLY having seen how much some of my friends spent on it that kept me away. I could pull off having either my old car or a good Magic deck, but not both!
