The Libra issue is an interesting one for me, because it is one of the few times where myself and the U.S. gov't have common interests. Facebook has shown time and again they cannot be trusted, and if Libra were to be very successful there would be a lot of power centralized in their hands. I am somewhat hopeful that Facebook and Libra keeps the U.S. politicians distracted while Bitcoin and the altcoins take time to evolve. The more time that passes until the U.S. and other major gov'ts get worried about Bitcoin and crypto the harder it will be for them to stop. Maybe bureaucratic inefficiency and politicians' lack of vision can work FOR the people for a change... 😀
