It's a pretty good series, though inappropriate for children or those who are rather emotionally sensitive. My take on it is it's not a series I like strongly enough to buy to own (relatively few series and movies have that honor nowadays), but it's certainly something to have on your to-watch list when the opportunity presents itself (i.e. a free trial of HBO, airplane trips, watching at a friend's house, etc.).
