RE: Kickman 25x12
Ah, I see that the role of Kickman for this episode is being played by Randall from the "Clerks" movies. I totally approve 😁

Dhalsim beats Strongman on the basis of name alone. I mean, "Percy"? Dhalsim wouldn't even have to resort to fire breathing. Skin tough as rhino hide won't help him when Dhalsim shoves his stretchy

RE: Nerd By Northwest #321 – “Nerd Movie Premiere Night”
Yup, the bard gets even less respect than Rodney Dangerfield... as it should be! (j/k) 😉

Exactly! The first D&D movies are mostly good only for alcohol-fueled mockery. 😏 I've heard a bit about certain plans by WotC on the future of D&D, and yeah I don't like what I've heard either

RE: Nerd By Northwest #321 – “Nerd Movie Premiere Night”
The upside of watching movies in Mongolia is that it's much cheaper. The downside is that you don't see the same level of cosplay enthusiasm among moviegoers at the opening nights as you do in the US...

I thought it was worth the price of the ticket, but it's not in 3D or anything so you wouldn't miss out too much if you waited until it was on streaming services or what not.

RE: Nerd By Northwest #319 – “Familiars Behaving Badly”
It's a good movie, but disturbing. A bit like Clockwork Orange one might say... a well-done movie, but not necessarily fun to sit through. Not as gory in most parts as you might think (much more geared

RE: The Viral Hit of 1996
That was the year I did a cross-country road trip in an old '79 Honda with only the radio stations for tunes. Spending $200 to install a CD player in a car I bought for $800 seemed silly at the time. But

Ya know, the idea of Snarf being the "dominant" one in that relationship somehow seems strangely fitting... 🤨

You may be the lucky one in the long run. A lot of the shows I watched as a kid in the 80's & 90's I looked back with some nostalgia, but when I happened to see them as an adult? Oh, so many were mediocre

Princess Ariel the Sorceress from Thundarr the Barbarian is sooo hot. (Also, Thundarr the Barbarian is actually one of those iconic 80's cartoons that's still watchable today as an adult. My son and I

TV in Alaska in the 80's was probably just as bad. Some places you were eventually able to get cable TV, but others not so much. My dad's house well outside the city was one such place, and stuck with

I know, right? As a kid one of the cartoons I particularly liked was Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. Even as a young kid it was hard to miss the merchandising tie-ins for the show's toy line. But watching
