I hiked to Taggart Lake, located in the foothills of the Grand Teton mountains. When I finally reached the lake shore at dusk, this is what I saw. As I hiked along the snow and ice covered trail back to my car by the light of my cell phone, I realized grizzly bears might not all be in hibernation yet. Luckily, the cold air kept my mind distracted by my lack of preparation for the temperature!
