although I didn't have a step counter back then when I was in college it was in a smaller city where everything was spread out and there wasn't any public transport. Therefore, everyone just drove everywhere. I think people in cities generally have a better chance to stay fit just because we are always walking to thing since driving would likely take longer due to no parking.
I was surprised by my average amount per day. I thought it would be far less especially on days that I don't go for a run
