Standard Notes is a note taking application that puts particular emphasis on privacy & security. It is cross-platform and of course, completely open-source. It features unmatched simplicity, end-to-end encryption and powerful extensions.
Proposal
I would propose that the minute reader option or feature should be added to this app. A tab or an option should be developed in the settings menu where a user can toggle like the word count on other notes like omni note.

The screenshot will show how this feature will look like on Standard Notes..This feature should be added on the main page to make it easier . You will need to highlight all text then the minutes read will give an approximate time needed to finish reading
Benefits
This will make the app more smart and unique as users of the Standard notes application while putting down their presentation will be able to adjust their to-do lists, etc. to give them edge over the problem of running out of time during a presentation.
