Features to be added on Unote..

Components

Unote is one of the android applications that provide some features, ie add, delete records, import and export the database, secure records with keys, sort notes by date, modification and title, and also search feature data.

Proposal

I'll be making 3 suggestion that should be added to the Unote application...

1. Unote will make more sense if the users have options in choosing a font of their choice. I suggest that the developers of this application should add these feature so that users can choose a particular font and size they want to use as their text.

2. Read only feature makes notes applications great, so i suggest that Unote developers should take this into consideration and add an option that will enable users to keep their notes on a Read only mode. This option when turn on should make it impossible to edit note stored on Unote.

3. An undo feature helps a lot when it comes to note taking. I suggest that an undo tab should be added to the writing page of Unote so that a user can easily undo his actions.

Mockups / Examples

1. If implemented this is the new interface of the app. To use this feature all you need to do is just tap on any of the options you wish to write in and start typing.
   The text icon should be added on the menu bar for easy access.. The upper arrow shows where the icon is located, the down arrow shows how it will appear when you click on it, different font and size will pop up on top the text for users to choose their preferred font and size.. (See picture)
   

1. The feature will be place under settings with a toggle that the user can either switch it on if he chooses to.

   The undo button should be added on the note menu bar to make it accessible when typing a note..
   

Benefits

1. Adding this feature will be a major plus to the app. Having font feature on Unote gives the user the privilege to manipulate the text font and size to the way it suits them. Adding font options and size will enable users to toggle between different font and sizes so that they can see boldly and clearly.

2. This is a great feature anyday, anytime. Because It helps protect the users files from being edited when an unknown user mistakenly go through their notes. When this feature is on it will help make the note readable but not editable.

3. When this is implemented, users will be able to undo their action easily while trying to edit their notes. What we understand like lost of information will not be an issue anymore. The stress involved in trying a word after it has been deleted by mistake will be eliminated. It will make the app more user friendly and smart
