Dragon bridge is one of the most recognizable images of Ljubljana.
It was constructed in 1900 ans was Ljubljana's first reinforced concrete bridge, one if the largest bridges of its kind in Europe at the time.
There is a legend that Jason, the leader of argonauts was the founder of Ljubljana and he had to fight and kill the dragon which found his place on dragon's bridge and atop of the castle tower.
Another less known local legend connected to the dragon is, that when a virgin crosses the bridge the dragon will wig his tail :)
