Been thinking a lot lately about the erosion of our society. Not even talking about the latest scam intended to control and corral all of us into a technocracy where all individual freedoms are lost, a scam being brought about via the fear of some illusive virus -- although to my mind, it is all interconnected.

No, I'm thinking about just our current day to day lives right now; how a new generation has become fearless of the law, where walking into a store and just walking out with stuff is no longer even a criminal offense.

I'm thinking about the increasing homeless population, where many thousands now live on our city streets, and there is no protection or help for them, and how so many of them don't even want it, as the fentanyl flows freely now across our southern border, and city officials hand out clean syringes as a way to combat the problem?

Thinking about all the unaccompanied minors who are being trafficked all over this country for what I can only imagine are very nefarious purposes, child sex trafficking, and even worse.

But, I'm really thinking about how our "elected" officials are now so bought and paid for by multinational corporate interests, (and many blackmailed), that they will sell their souls for power and another buck, or just to save their asses. Doesn't matter which of our two corporately owned parties one has an allegiance to.

I'm thinking about how there is no accountability for the crimes of those that supposedly legislate, as they increase their wealth via insider trading, and tell us that "this is free enterprise". I'm also thinking about our complicit media that protects their crimes and is held to the same lack of moral and ethical standards as they are.

No wonder the youth have no value system that they can hold onto anymore. All authority figures today have already taken away most of their rights, and even a dunce knows that they are almost all corrupt. Why should the youth try to be any different inside such a corruption of values and the complete distortion between what is right and what is wrong. After all, who gets away with the most crime? Those that rule us.

It's up to the adults left in the room to bring a stop to this, now.

My biggest concern is, are there any adults left in the room?
