For this week's Splinterlands art post, I've chosen a unique character that I've seen very rarely in Fan arts.

INSPIRATION

I chose this because it reminded me of my elder sister who used to call me Monkey according to her I have a lot of habits similar to monkeys.

For example

Preferring banana instead of all fruits.
Jumping around like monkeys all the time.
To steal and eat the food of others.
Climbing trees easily (my hidden talent)

So I thought that I should make something that will surprise everyone. Now don't think that I made my own character art. 🙄😒

I have a very sweet caring and loving personality 🤭 but the monkey I created is flame monkey which means it might have angry nature.

Don't tell anyone that sister calls me (monkey) it's secret.

PROCEDURE

In the first step I drew a sketch of monkey that was presence in my mind to change the monkey.

I know it looks like a stuffed cat inside the cage 😭😂 but it's not a cat, it's my monkey, and you'll see how beautiful I'll make it 😁

I did some intense flame colors in it and gave it a new look and then it looked something like this.

I hope it doesn't sting your eyes too much. 😐

After that I created the background behind him I skipped his eyes because I don't have expertise in making eyes so I thought I would create his eyes later.

When I made the background and showed it to my sister, she said, "Please don't add childish things to your drawings" but I know that these are the things that I like best that I make for myself. I don't need anyone else's point of view in it. After that, my heart was broken, I didn't want to continue, but I explained to myself that I shouldn't care about what others say. When a person is doing something for his own happiness, he should focus on his own happiness and not waste his entire life on making others happy.

Leaving all the useless thoughts, I started focusing on him again.

I found it a bit difficult to draw his eyes because I don't draw eyes much, I'm just starting out with digital art, so hopefully as I go along I'll learn things and get better at drawing them.
