This might be my last pob post on this account. I just created an alt account @nonsowrites.pob for all my pob activities curation especially. To be honest, I don't know what to do with this page.
I want to write stuff I feel comfortable sharing outside this space (in line with my long-term plans). Would like to engage my Twitter users some more. My current hive page is quite messy, this is why I don't share my content outside this space.
Also considering the core concept behind proof of the brain, I was thinking about using my alt account to discuss big ideas. I haven’t decided yet but for now, it is all about maximizing my curation without hurting my hive account.
So earlier this morning I planned to write a post that captured my overall feeling towards the pob project and how far I have come, but I have been under the weather.
However, thinking things through, I am often hit by this cold realization that I almost missed it-- the chance to be part of a bubbly community where I am playing an important role in. The only place I have felt this welcome would be the bdcommunity but then, there is the language barrier.
For the first time since I joined hive I feel like I am doing something for someone other than myself. I am contributing significantly to the growth of a community and it is amazing watching how it all grows amidst the feuding.
I enjoy the work I do for the pin WOTW and hopefully, soon I will have my mini-project (looking forward to it). I also hope more people shine and get their opportunity to contribute meaningfully.
We aren't doing badly as a community (amidst the squabbles). There is a cohesiveness to this project (amidst the banter) that I like. It is like an underdog project that has blossomed without anyone giving it much of a chance. This is something I identify with.
They say nothing lasts forever, however, I hope we make every second count--I am doing that in my little way. But if you ask me, I think pob is just getting started. There is more to come. Cheers!
