I want to say a big thank you to every witness that voted in support of the soft-fork. For the very first time, I am agreeing with witnesses on something--this needed to be done. Irrespective of the angle you want to examine things from, this was in the best interest of the steem blockchain. I would ten times take this over being caught off guard by Justin Son.

We got to this point due to a lack of communication. And I believe this soft fork sets the motion for the type of conversation or communication we will want from Justin and his team.

At this point, I want to tilt towards the argument that Justin did not know what he was buying into and probably there might be a fraud case here. I doubt a man with his capacity and knowledge of cryptocurrency would buy into anything without doing his background check. Whatever the case might be I think Justin would want value for his money thus putting him in a position to negotiate with the steem community or at least try to understand what he brought into and decide how best he can leverage on his new acquisition to push his major project tron. I believe both projects can co-exist.

A couple of persons have argued that this said soft-fork was unnecessary but I would rather bank on proactive measures than the goodwill of one man who has the power to change the steem blockchain positively or negatively. Call it a gamble but we've gotten a positive response from Justin and steemit in less than 24hours. This goes further to support my belief that he is here for the community, not the steem coin and we can leverage on that.
