I agree, nobody needs permission. If someone wants to express themselves and chip away at their own integrity in the process, they're free to do so.

And I briefly touched on how arts and entertainment has always been heavily censored. Artforms like satire and comedy in general are on the brink of being lost artforms at times. Dave Chappelle is probably the most recent one these crazies tried to cancel.

But it seems these days within this particular crowd you're only standing up for free speech if you're talking about vaccines, which is ridiculous. Why only focus on politics and giving politics a platform when it's politics that has been attempting to destroy arts and entertainment in its purest forms for centuries? Politics has ruined any platform it has ever infected. Turns people against one another including family members. Brainwashes the populace. Manipulative garbage delivered by robots designed to be sociopathic. Who the hell actually wants that? Is 'fitting in' so important these days people will sign their lives away just to a be a part of whatever's fashionable in the news? Am I living in a goddamn simulation?

One can come here, as an artist and entertainer and thrive. I know from experience. What's interesting to me is when I just got started here in 2016 I was downvoted pretty hard for an obscene comedy bit I wrote. I made a lot of people laugh but someone out there got really pissed off. I was just a noob, probably had 20 token to my name, but this community stepped up, countered the downvotes, made me feel welcome, and I carried on. Since then I've not seen even one genuine humorist or dedicated artist get 'cancelled' or kicked to the curb just for being those things.

I don't think we're allowed to mention that form of freedom of speech and freedom of the arts for the most part is fully embraced and more than welcome here, as the craft gets shit on elsewhere. That goes against the image this group wants to paint and blurs the lines a bit. But I don't need to ask permission to say it.

This group's demands are obnoxious though. They want other people to promote free speech and they want other people to onboard millions with something to say that isn't actually an original thought but more or less just sounds like what everyone else is saying, and they also want those other people to support those millions all parroting the same shit nonstop. If they don't get their way they'll continue to bash the platform and blame that on the other people, too. All that instead of simply doing what they want and working towards achieving their own personal goals and mission in life. Nobody is stopping them. They're just people that require a master it seems. In need of motherly web 2.0 to hold their hands and give them warm milk.

I'm just being sarcastic, but it is ridiculous. "I can't say anything," said the person saying something...
