I'm sure I'm the furthest thing away from perfect but I find helping folks when they least expect it and keeping it as quiet as possible to be one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.
If I see a post here, for instance, where someone is being loud and proud about donating or delegating to a certain cause, I know damn well all they're doing is trying to make up for those losses with the post rewards they hope to generate.
I'll hold the door open for people. Big fucking deal. Some days you'll get a quiet thank you, most days you won't even get eye contact. Imagine though, for a second, if I was standing there holding the door, while yelling, "Hey everyone! Look at me! I'm helping someone!"
That's how you get arrested.
