It is true that many people consider Jemez Springs the most beautiful area in New Mexico with the combination of high red desert rocks and snow top mountains. It's no wonder it was chosen to be part of the national Scenic byway but the beauty of the surrounding nature often leaves the hidden beauties overlooked. One of these places is the Buddha Zen Center just on the edge of town. With its beautiful natural Hot Spring for relaxing in the cool afternoons and it's beautiful yet quaint meditation room. And it's peaceful prayer or meditation temples. They have clean bath house showers. I was very impressed with their facility definitely worth checking out for a day
