I had read the book by Yukio Mishima who I believe was one of the most interesting authors to have lived if you have time to check out his life story. Having read of the golden pavilion or Kinkakuji as it is called in Japan I had to go see it. Unfortunately, it was dark, cloudy, and rainy so but nonetheless, I feel I was able to take a decent photograph.
