This year's NBA finals was very entertaining. I have always been a big Steph Curry fan, so I was rooting for the warriors to win. I hoped Durant would come back to play ASAP, but then I felt bad for him when he had that Achilles injury. Many of the warriors players were just exhausted from 5 straight NBA finals appearances. That takes a toll on your body.
On the other hand, the Raptors look like geniuses here. They took a one year gamble on Kawhii and it paid off. That upgrade from Derozan to Kawhi was the main factor the Raptors advanced. Kawhi is a much better shooter, rebounder and the best defender in the NBA.
I hope Kawhi signs a 1-2 year deal to stay in Toronto. As long as Ibaka and Lowry can still play at a high level they will be the best team in the East.
