The Spotted Pardalote is one of my favourite little birds. It is found on the eastern third of the Australian continent. This bird usually builds it's nest in a tunnel in a a sandy bank of a river. The first photo below was taken today (17 July 2020) near Bargo River in New South Wales. This male Pardalote was carrying nesting material to line its nest in the river bank.
