How to blend in AI (and a little more)/ Cómo difuminar en AI (y un poco más)

Hello everyone! today I have come with a fact that I did not know that it was very easy to learn, I didn't know how to blend colors in Adobe Illustrator, I saw it really complicated, after searching a bit and understanding it, I was even able to figure out on my own how to make a "fuzzy" letter, It felt pretty good for me to start experimenting 👌🏻, sorry if my handwriting is ugly, it was hard for me to write a single letter with the mouse 😂.

Don't forget that when I use Adobe Illustrator, I use Spanish, so I'll try to get as close to the English button names as I can.

Here begins my explanation

• Okay, when we have our document open in the program, we proceed to insert a circle with a gradient that is to our personal taste, using ALT + Left Click, they will duplicate the circle and move it away a bit so that they are nicely aligned.

• By the way, take a look at how I have the tool you're going to use set up first, you can go to "Object" and look for "Blend" and "Blend Options", or simply double click on the tool 👀.

• Then we use "Blend tool", we click on our circles and there they will be mixed.

• Then with the brush we make a letter or a word if you like, then we select everything and go to "Object" "Blend" and click on "Replace spine" (I don't know if "spine" is the correct translation).

• Now we have a mixed word, we can modify it.

• Once I made the font bigger, I just used "direct selection tool" to arrange it in a way that looked good to me.

• In the end I only put a black background because it would make the work done stand out more, did you see? From the moment we mixed the two circles we had already done a blending, the rest was to make a nice detail like that font by hand, It will remain in the imagination of each one and endless possibilities with this tool 🔥.

I think it is not necessary to say this but I will do it anyway, I made an "N" for Noctav, I wanted to write it completely but with a mouse it was difficult for me, so I just left the initial 😬, but I still haven't finished explaining, I still have to say how I made the "fuzzy" letter, it would only be to add as one more step, It turns out that later I was looking for the button in the program because I knew it in English but not in Spanish, so you can imagine how I was trying to find it without being able to understand how they managed to call it in my native language 😂 not even the translator was helpful 🤣.

I admit that I find this effect quite attractive for making designs, on clothes or a sticker.

• I went back to do the whole process that I explained before so that the letter was another, I like to make second versions of some results, now once we have everything done again, we go to "Effect", "Distort and Transform", we click on "Rougher".

• Now we just upload as much as we can and start marking according to our convenience, I liked how you can see it configured in the image, it wasn't explosive but it wasn't simple either, so I enjoyed how it turned out in the end.

Now I have finished explaining, I still find it hard to believe that this really seemed too difficult before, now i kind of ended up laughing at myself and making various designs for fun 😅🤣, here saying something between us, if you flip this image, it looks like a "Z" seen from above and if you flip it again it looks like a "Z" seen from below 👀, It's just a comment, but I found it interesting to see this effect, it made me see it as another letter with different angles 😅.

I also wanted to tell you that I feel a bit nervous at the moment, I'm starting to do new things, like making designs for shirts, because of the nerves that I have, sometimes I start to procrastinate, so every now and then I look for something that makes me concentrate, I try to maintain a new drawing routine and well, I hope I can get used to it 😅🤔, even for more comfort, in what I'm drawing, I put an anime series that I like, although it has small exaggerated details, I suppose that it is something that is frequent in anime and manga, I think it's such a cute series 😱😳, I think its title in English is "My Dress-up Darling", and in Japanese it is "Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi Wo Suru", it's just that today I decided to watch it well (I can't watch series if I'm too distracted)Now I can't get off the screen but hey! I'm drawing at the same time, so the technique is working 😅, Gojo and Kitagawa seem to me to be too cute characters, spontaneous in their own way, which makes the series seem too enjoyable for me, in what little I have, they understand each other and help each other, Gojo is so calm and thoughtful and Kitagawa is so warm and fun, they make a great contrast!

¡Hola a todos! hoy he venido con un dato que no sabía que era muy fácil de aprender, no sabía cómo mezclar colores en adobe illustrator, lo vi realmente complicado, después de buscar un poco y entenderlo, luego pude descubrir por mi cuenta cómo hacer una letra tipo "fuzzy", me sentí muy bien para comenzar a experimentar 👌🏻, lo siento si mi letra es fea, fue difícil para mí escribir una sola letra con el mouse 😂.

Aquí comienza mi explicación

• Bien, cuando tengamos nuestro documento abierto en el programa, procedemos a insertar un círculo con un degradado que sea de nuestro gusto personal, usando ALT + Click Izquierdo, duplicarán el círculo y lo alejarán un poco para que queden bien alineados.

• Por cierto, miren cómo tengo configurada la herramienta que van a usar primero, pueden ir a "Objeto" y buscar "Fusión" y "Opciones de fusión", o simplemente hacer doble clic en la herramienta 👀.

• Luego usamos “herramienta de fusión”, hacemos click sobre nuestros círculos y ahí quedarán mezclados.

• Luego con el pincel hacemos una letra o una palabra si gustas, luego seleccionamos todo y vamos a "Objeto" "Fusión" y hacemos clic en "Reemplazar lomo".

• Ahora que tenemos la letra fusionada, podemos modificarla.

• Una vez que hice la fuente más grande, solo usé la "herramienta de selección directa" para organizarla de una manera que me pareciera bien.

• Al final solo puse un fondo negro porque resaltaría más el trabajo realizado, ¿viste? Desde el momento que mezclamos los dos círculos ya habíamos hecho un difuminado, el resto fue hacer un lindo detalle como esa tipografía a mano, ya quedará en la imaginación de cada uno y un sinfín de posibilidades con esta herramienta 🔥.

Creo que no es necesario decir esto pero lo haré de todos modos, hice una "N" por Noctav, quería escribirlo completo pero con un mouse se me hizo difícil, así que solo dejé la inicial 😬, pero aún no termino de explicar, aún me falta decir como hice la letra "Fuzzy", solo sería agregar como un paso más, resulta que después estuve buscando el botón por un buen rato en el programa porque yo lo sabía en inglés pero no en español, así que pueden imaginarse cómo estaba tratando de encontrarlo sin poder entender cómo lograron llamarlo en mi idioma nativo 😂 ni el traductor ayudó mucho 🤣.

Reconozco que este efecto me parece bastante atractivo para hacer diseños, en ropa o en una pegatina.

• Volví a hacer todo el proceso que expliqué antes para que la letra fuera otra, me gusta hacer segundas versiones de algunos resultados, ahora una vez que tengamos todo hecho de nuevo, vamos a "Efecto", "Distorsionar y Transformar" , hacemos clic en "Ajustar".

• Ahora solo subimos todo lo que podamos y comenzamos a marcar de acuerdo a nuestra conveniencia, me gustó como lo pueden ver configurado en la imagen, no fue explosivo pero tampoco fue sencillo, así que disfruté como quedó en el resultado final.

Ya terminé de explicar, todavía me cuesta creer que esto realmente parecía demasiado difícil antes, ahora como que terminé riéndome de mí misma y haciendo varios diseños para divertirme 😅🤣, aquí diciendo algo entre nosotros, si le das la vuelta a esta imagen, se ve como una "Z" vista desde arriba y si volteas de nuevo se ve como una "Z" vista desde abajo 👀, es solo un comentario, pero me pareció interesante ver este efecto, me hizo verlo como otra letra con diferentes ángulos 😅.

También quería decirles que me siento un poco nerviosa en este momento, estoy empezando a hacer cosas nuevas, como hacer diseños para camisas, por los nervios que tengo, a veces empiezo a procrastinar, así que de vez en cuando me pongo entonces a buscar algo que me haga concentrarme, trato de mantener una nueva rutina de dibujo y bueno, espero poder acostumbrarme 😅🤔, aún para más comodidad, en lo que estoy dibujando, pongo una serie de anime que me gusta, aunque tiene pequeños detalles exagerados, supongo que es algo que es frecuente en el anime y manga, me parece una serie tan linda 😱😳, creo que su título en inglés es "My Dress-up Darling", y en japonés es "Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi Wo Suru", es que hoy decidi verla bien (no puedo ver series si estoy muy distraida) ahora no puedo salir de la pantalla pero ¡oye! Estoy dibujando al mismo tiempo, así que la técnica está funcionando 😅, Gojo y Kitagawa me parecen personajes demasiado lindos, espontáneos a su manera, lo que hace que la serie me parezca demasiado adorable, en lo poco que tengo viéndolo, ellos se entienden y se ayudan mutuamente, Gojo es tan tranquilo y atento y Kitagawa es tan cálida y divertida ¡hacen un gran contraste!
