On sunny days, it appears as an expansive sandy landscape. Passing through can result in being covered in dust and sand if the wind is strong, but locals are accustomed to it. We collect sand here for construction purposes and, at times, face challenges caused by its impact.
Walking here on a hot day can be tough due to the scorching sand. Finding shade or drinkable water is difficult. This area is a valuable resource for us, though sometimes it brings hardships. We also utilize the dry logs carried by the river as fuel when the water subsides.
At night, it takes on a different atmosphere – dark and quiet. The only sounds are distant vehicle hums from the nearby town and the chirping of birds. Walking here at night, especially during a moonlit night, is enjoyable as the path is well-illuminated.
That concludes my short blog, and thank you for patiently reading my thoughts.
