Today SMART-Members that have been whitelisted for the Travel Tigers NFT private sale have been informed that:
You’re now one step closer to having a chance at getting your hands on 1 of 1,000 Founders Edition NFTs at the minting price.
The Travel Tigers NFTs will serve as the key to access the new Smart Diamond Tier, make their owner eligible to earn ambassador bonuses. What does this mean? Each quarter, a pool of travel credits worth 10% of Travala.com net revenue will be made available to claim by the guys and girls that hold one of these rare NFTs. Let's do a little calculation on that. The Q4 2021 report of TRAVALA published a gross revenue of $17,368,081. Unfortunately, I have no idea about the cost of goods for TRAVALA and haven't found the net revenue published anywhere. So let's make a conservative assumption that net revenue is 20% of that. So we have $3,473,000. TRAVALA has a solid growth between 47% and 74% q-o-q and 478% y-o-y. So with another 30% rise in revenue, we will come to §4,500,000 for the first quarter 2022. 10% of that will go to a maximum of 1000 NFT holders. So $450 in Q1 2022, with the potential to grow double-digit q-o-q.
On top of that there are more benefits to the diamond members:
- Up to 10% loyalty rewards giveback paid in AVA
- Up to 3% discount when paying in full with AVA
- 5000 Governance Votes on proposals
- Concierge.io access for bookings over US$20k
- Proof of Travel NFT program
- TRVL token airdrops
- Access to exclusive community forums and both online and in-person events
The minting price for whitelisted SMART members is $3,500 and based on my assumptions it would take less than 2 years to get this money back only with the ambassador bonus. If I have a severe mistake in calculating the net revenue, it might take longer - but it looks like a good deal to me. I will definitely mint my Tiger and go abroad.
