Important points I learnt from God's word discussed
The good news is salvation. Man is more powerful than animals. Man is higher in the order of creation . Worshiping animals is wrong .
Romans 1:25 talks about worshiping the creator instead of the creatures. We shouldn't hate each other and fight over church. That which is in the bible us better. The church of God is a better name. We should believe in the church and God and join it .
Proverbs 22:1 talks about a good name being better than riches. The good name referred to is the name of the lord.
Romans 12:9 states that we should cleave to that which is the lord.
Not accepting the word of Christ is rejection. The true church in the bible is the church of God. Everybody has a bible .
Gentiles are fellow heirs. They're fellow members of the church.
The church was instituted by God for us to be members.
1 Corinthians 10:32 talks about joining the church as members so we can be partakers of the blessings.
Joining the church is by accepting the bible. It's God who accepts us.
Gentiles should be fellow heirs. An heir is a fellow owner. The Gospel is good news. The good news is salvation. The good news is not accepted by raising hands; the gospel is the doctrine, and the doctrine of the gospel is the doctrine of truth.
The Gospel is the doctrine to be obeyed and not received by raising hands .
Colossians 3:16 talks about us singing to God and that it's one of the doctrines.
Singing is a commandment by God. We sing to man, cruel men, our mother, father etc
The following were my old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening
- man has the right to worship anything he likes.
- That singing is optional to man.
- that we can join the church by raising hands.
How the teaching affects me as a better person.
1 I got to learn that singing is a commandment by God.
