A lot of African parents perceives marriage as a form of accomplishment and that's why some of them pushes their daughter into marriage unprepared in some cases not with the person they love
My close girl friend has been suffering cracks in her marriage due to this same issue ...lots of regrets but it's too late for her but rather manage the marriage the way it is.
