The advantage of cash is anonymity, something that governments and central powers definitely want to eradicate because it limits their control over us.

When I think of CBDCs I feel a sense of dread as I realise how much power we continue to cede to banks and governments over our finances, and therefore our lives in general. I understand that through this system the central power not only knows how much you own but also has the power to withdraw your money or burn it directly as a way of controlling inflation.

Cryptocurrencies are truly the last trench we have left to protect our money and freedom.
