Hello Steemit community a big hug, I want to tell you about my hobby that is music, I knew this wonderful art from an early age and it was love at first sight, over the years I have been growing in general with music, now I can practice drums, bass, guitar and piano. My main instruments are the drums and bass.
- How did I choose this hobby?
It all started when I was 9 years old, I listened to the sound of a guitar for the first time, through that I was interested in music, until I decided to play it when I was 11 years old. Since then it's my favorite pastime.
- How long have you been doing it?
I am currently 24 years old, so it would be about 13 years.- Am I learning more and more every day?
Yes, every day I try to practice to improve, in a matter of agility, harmony, melody.
- What do you like about this hobby?
I love it, since the music is infinite, there is no monotony, there is always something that can be done, a new arrangement, a different rhythm, mergers, among other things.
- Do you like it because you're good?
Although I am 13 years old in this, I consider myself to have a lot to learn. Something very important is that I do not have my own instrument and that delays the progress of the subject a lot. Thank God that has given me the talent and what little I do, I try to do my best.- Do you love it because it takes away your stress?
Not necessarily, although the music can be expressed under any feeling, my opinion is that it should not be just a de-stressing. The music goes beyond that.- Do you enjoy it because it is a challenge?
Yes, I really enjoy it, it challenges me to improve. It really is a challenge because there are people or groups whose musical level is very high, but when trying to do something similar, it does not go the same, there is where the challenge comes from.
- When do you practice?
Every time I have the opportunity, I currently have a borrowed guitar (soon I have to return it) every day I start practicing, when I do not have it I will manage to do something hahaha.
- Is it part of your daily life or do you have to give up your routine to do it?
If it is part of my daily life, there is not a single day that does not happen listening to music and paying attention to what each instrument does, each voice, an arrangement. Sometimes I listen to something new and I am surprised because it happens to me with a song that I have listened to it many times, that is why not a day goes by when I do not practice the music even mentally.
Is it something that you share with other people or is it your hobby and do it for yourself?
In this case, music can be exercised in two ways, it can be for yourself, like sharing it with others. In my case they are both, I have the happiness of belonging to a team and we share this art that is music.What is going through your mind when you do it?
Of all a bit hahaha is something that is not easy to explain, because there are many things that come at the time of execution, example: when I play the bass and I'm doing a harmonic circle in G (G major), a simple circle can be G D Em C, I for being the bass, automatically I have to think that according to the melody of voice, instead of me playing D (re) I could play an F # (sustained F) that would be the 3rd of D (re). That's why I say that you think about everything a bit.Is your hobby a priority?
I would like it to be a priority, but it is not.
- Practice takes time away from your family or partner?
I do not take any time, my family knows how much I like music and they respect my space.- Do you have it very high on your list of priorities or is it not so important compared to family and friends?
Yes, I have it very high, it is very important for me this world of music.
- Is your hobby expensive?
It depends, because there are very economical instruments but the sound quality is very low, compared to high cost instruments, which the sound quality is excellent.
- What sacrifices do you make to practice your hobby?
Thank God I do not have the need to make a sacrifice for practicing my hobby
- Are you an amateur? An addict? An expert? What makes the difference between them? Does it depend only on the skills or do you also need equipment to improve?
Amateur? If I consider myself, Addict? A little, Expert? I do not consider myself an expert, because for that you have to study music fully, and I have not had the opportunity, apart from being able to exercise an instrument in an excellent way.
In the case of music if 100% of the skills depend, it is worthless if you have a $ 100,000 battery if you do not have knowledge of how to execute it.
- Are you lucky that your hobby is part of your job?
I do not have that happiness, it has been my dream for a few years.
- If you had to explain to an extraterrestrial, how would you do it?
Simple, I do not believe in them xD
