When I begin I am flying but my heart rate is normal
As I close in on my destination my heart rate quickens
When it’s time to go my heart beats like never before
Now that I am flying alone, my surroundings so serene
My anticipation has turned to wonder and I am free
Floating on a stream of air, cutting through the wind
My excitement is apparent and my enthusiasm surreal
But all good things must end, that time is almost here
My heart rate quickens again until my venture is complete
I can’t wait to do it all again, free falling from the skies
