Alice in Wonderland jokes aside, have you been following the drama in the DEFI protocol Wonderland. Apparently, the treasurer of Wonderland has been doxxed as a convicted felon. On the internet he goes by the name Sifu and has a history of being a serial scammer. He was the cofounder of a Canadian exchange that disappeared with 169 million in 2019. Wonderlands founder Daniele Sestagalli has said that he was aware of Sifu鈥檚 past but did not want to judge him on his past and felt he could turn over a new leaf.
Olympus DAO and its numerous forks including Wonderland are considered the second generation of DEFI and commonly called DEFI 2.0.
Wonderlands associated token is $TIME. It took me a while to get it and realize that the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland was always carrying a clock and always worried about not having enough time. Wonderland offers an APY of about 85,000% which is not uncommon for these Web 2.0 protocols.
The smaller users in Wonderland known as frogs have outvoted the whales to keep the project going. Who knows what is going to happen next.
