Every week on Saturdays, I will share a photo of my late black cat named Gem.
If you bought Gem a toy or a bed it seems like she almost never liked it or completely rejected it. But she found ways to turn random household items such as string from presents or milk caps into toys to play with. Whenever you brought home something in a box or a package was delivered, as soon as you removed the contents from the box she would immediately jump inside it. Sometimes she would even sleep in the box using it as a bed or makeshift shelter.
In this week’s photo (below), she is sleeping, rolled into a tight ball, in a USPS box and partially lying on bubble wrap and wrapping tissue.
