Today is a nice sunny day. On the way to the forest in the open areas I saw a small flock of starlings, only 4 individuals. When I came closer I saw that they were collecting food for themselves in the grass.
These starlings turned out to be very timid. I tried to get closer to them several times, but they, although they did not fly away, ran away from me.
I couldn't get close to them. Usually starlings in this place are not so shy, but these ones apparently didn't want to let me get closer.
They probably decided that I could take away the food they found and didn't want to share it with me. I even hid behind a tree but it didn't help. They didn't want to come near me at all.
I stood behind the tree for a long time, but nothing came of it. The starlings simply flew away to another clearing. Apparently they were tired of me coming closer to them all the time.
