It's warmed up nicely today. Out of habit, I dressed warmly and I'm even hot. I walked through the city park. There are many people in it. Sunday day. Many came to the park with their families. All rides are already open.
I specially went along the path, which goes far from the main paths. I hoped that I might be able to see the birds. I wasn't wrong. Although there weren't many. But I liked the starling that sat on the branch.
Starlings appeared in this park in the spring as soon as it got a little warmer. I was very happy about it. They usually arrive much later. Usually when it's already warm. But always with the arrival of starlings, it is believed that it will already be warm outside.
Usually, when it gets warmer in this park, schoolchildren hang new birdhouses. This is because starlings always live here. The park is large and there is always a place for birds. Moreover, in winter in this park, people take care of the birds when the cold comes and it snows.
Starlings know that they can find a birdhouse in this park and settle there. Of course, there are not enough birdhouses for all. Some starlings have to build their own nests. Some nest in hollow trees. But mostly a lot of starlings find a place to live.
I like the singing of starlings. When you walk through the park, you hear their trills. Sometimes you don’t immediately make out that this is a starling. They can produce trills of various birds. Sometimes it seems. that it is a whole choir of various birds. In fact, it is only starlings that emit their trills. They imitate the singing of other birds well.
From afar, you can sometimes confuse starlings and blackbirds. But upon closer inspection, they are immediately recognizable. Starlings are very peaceful. I have never seen them in conflict with other birds.
I was satisfied. The starling was very cheerful and not shy. He ignored me when I took pictures of him.
