Quite by chance, on the outskirts of the city, in a small park, I saw a small flock of flycatchers
The day turned out to be sunny and warm, and therefore the flycatchers have opened their hunt for flying insects.
The location was very convenient. The dense foliage hid the flycatchers and were difficult to see. In addition, the bright sun well illuminated the place in front of the mountain ash. It was evident that several flycatchers were sitting on this mountain ash and waiting for insects flying by.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to get closer to them. The place was open and there was nowhere to hide.
But I still think I'm lucky. I have not seen these birds for a long time and thought that they had already flown away to warm lands.
Of course, flycatchers were good at hiding and moving quickly, so making a good photo was not easy. Nevertheless, I was patient and stood waiting for the flytrap to appear in a good perspective.
The flycatchers did not pay so much attention to me that I managed to get a little closer to them. But unfortunately, they began to fly to a more distant tree. But I still was in no hurry to leave and hoped that they would return .
And really, not much later, two flycatchers flew back and sat on the branches. It wasn't bad. Although they were not sitting close. Nevertheless, they stayed on the branches and I managed to photograph them.
In general, it was a good moment. I was very pleased that I was able to photograph these birds.
