It has been raining since morning and quite heavy. But by lunchtime the weather improved and even the sun came out. I decided to go to the park and see, if possible, the local birds. I didn't take many seeds with me to feed the birds in the park. It is already pretty cool now and it is difficult for them to find food for themselves.
In one place where I constantly feed the birds, I saw a nuthatch running along the trunk of a tree. I slowly walked up to the tree and poured seeds on the hectare of the sawn tree trunk next to it. The nuthatch immediately became interested in the treat. As soon as I moved farther away, he immediately went down below and began to get close to the seeds. Seeing that no one was scaring him, he began to grab the seeds with his beak and flew off a short distance. He sat on a branch and began to eat them.
Apparently he was hungry. Didn't fly away anywhere. All the time he returned to the stump for seeds. It's good that at that time no one was around and he managed to peck at the seeds well.
I noticed several tits on a branch nearby. As usual, these fidgets jumped on branches and collected seeds on them. After a long rain, they were obviously hungry. Therefore, they did not pay attention to me and looked for food.
They were jumping among the branches and I didn't have to work hard so as not to scare them away and find a good angle for shooting. I thought that they would notice the treat on the stump that the nuthatch was pecking at, but they did not see it. Having jumped a little more on the branches, they flew further into the park to look for food for themselves.
