The War Museum is Definitely worth a visit if you’re into your military history. There’s a decent collection of Bulgarian (Soviet) weaponry scattered around the grounds outside the main museum. Inside there are good exhibits taking you through Bulgaria’s participation in the major wars such as WW1, WW2, The Cold War and post war era. Plenty of displays to look over and all the background information is translated into English which was very useful.
