Yes I could see that the kopeck was sort of coppery. At least it isn't a shitty piece of iron with some electroplating, like our new coins. I like the oldest too!

Nitpicking notes 😉: Aloe and Haworthiopsis are each a separate genus in the Alooideae subfamily. If it has little white flowers, it's genus Haworthia or Haworthiopsis or Tulista and these are pollinated

Have you heard of using Zeolite chips in soil? It has a similar effect and also absorbs nutrients so they aren't lost to leaching
