Awesome Astros! Your mystery Mammillaria is M fraileana I don't have E lactea crests, I'm not fond of variegated plants in general, they are more delicate and my climate is harsh. Here they are mostly

It seems that many people drowned too

Quite a few South African plants you have there!

Around 1.5cm long. The main problem is that they munch on roots and any other cellulose material and farm fungus on said cellulose so they can be deadly to trees that aren't adapted to them. They don't

Magnificent trees! Oaks are not long-lived here, I think that the termites get to them

I'll stay away from grafting before I become crazy: I'm ok with spending 5 years watching something grow 😁 Echeveria dislike the weather at my place: the greenhouse is too hot, the sun is too sharp outside

It's impossible to be a purist! at one stage I was trying to avoid cacti and look at me now! I have learned to stick to plants that can manage in my conditions so I mostly don't grow Echeveria any more.

Thank you! I guess everything outside was lost for everybody when it flooded

Put them in a cooler room that isn't used much (so less light and heat) in winter and you may see buds in spring once you return them to a warmer, sunnier spot

Definitely ottonis! The seedling tray was full of little surprises and a lot of work to pot up

Mexican cacti are awesome! My cacti look much better now that they are in the greenhouse - I lost quite a few when they were outside and we had some tropical storms move inland and it rained for weeks

The seedlings in the tray are probably ottonis, did yours have yellow or red flowers?

I'm glad to see your life returning to normal, the news about the second flood was very bad to see

Good to see you again! Getting through loss and grief is a long process but picking up your old life again is a healthy sign. I'm looking forward to new posts 😃

Cactus doesn't bloom if you keep it inside your house so if you have somewhere suitable outside, you will have flowers

Thanks @ewkaw!

Cacti 😁 Sadly, cacti kept indoors don't flower because seasonal change is what triggers flowering. A house environment that is comfortable for humans is too constant.

Thank you @steemflow

Thank you! The competition is fierce, the trick is to have something different and hopefully my crop of seedlings will be

I do all the cleaning in spring but at least I am rewarded with flowers!
