Hello everyone! How are you all doing? It's been a few days since winter officially started so I want to continue with my traditional seasonal bucket lists. For this winter I kept it pretty simple but I might add a couple more things as days go by...
I took this photo 10 days ago, snow is long gone now but it fits to this post :)
make apple crisp - I found some super easy recipes on Pinterest so this will probably be one of the first things I will cross off from this list but who knows, maybe I'll end up making it more than once this winter
mulled wine on a cold evening - few winters ago I used to make mulled one at home quite often so I'm not sure if I will make it, have some during the winter market or at a cafe
build a snowman - obviously I need to wait for another snowfall to complete this one but if I happen to be at home when it snows enough, I want to build a snowman with my niece and nephew
movie marathon - it's a must every winter, I still haven't decided what I want to watch but my go to options are Marvel movies, Harry Potter or Lord of the rings... I also really want to watch The Grinch again!
Christmas gifts - for my niece and nephew! I already have some ideas of simple gifts I want to prepare for them for Christmas (we celebrate Christmas on January 7th so I still have time) but I guess I should slowly gather it all so I don't end up doing it last minute when it's probably going to be super crowded
complete Goodreads 2021. reading challenge - even though this won't fit for the entire winter, I still decided to put it on the list just as a reminder to complete this challenge. I only have two books I need to read to complete the number I have set for myself at the beginning of the year which is 30 books.
As always, I had to put my Winter bucket list on paper and luckily I left one page for it in my already filled up 2021. bullet journal! There is also a quote I found on Pinterest that says "Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire. It is time for home." - Edith Sitwell and I think that things from my list fit into that cozy, warm vibe. Winter is a time of solitude for me and I do enjoy spending time by myself but I also want to make sure that I have some social interactions and spend fun/quality time with my friends and family.
