I am SO excited to share this garden related post as I am waiting for spring to come and we can officially start with the gardening season of 2022! When I saw that riverflows@riverflows published the first Hive garden challenge for this year, I knew I'm gonna participate even though there's nothing going on in our garden at the moment.

Today was a nice and bright day so I took the advantage of the weather to take a few photos of our garden. There's not much going on, as you can see, but I still like to come here and get excited for spring, haha. By the way, can you spot a cat of the photo above? :)

Our blackberries branches have been trimmed so they are ready for this season. It's been years since we have them in the garden and they are still going string. Strawberry beds are doing well but we might make another one of these as we like to eat them fresh as well as put them in the freezer. I hope this year we will get some blueberries, we never had those!

Raspberries have been trimmed as well and I am happy to say our huge rosemary bush is surviving this winter and still going strong. We had some low temperatures, below zero degrees Celsius and I was wondering what will happen to rosemary but it seems to thrive regardless. I always say I will look up ways and benefits of using this herb other than drying it and using in food, which I love to do.

Another cat photo bomb, this time way more obvious! :D Once again, I am really looking forward to this gardening season (this is something you will hear a lot for me until it comes) and I am also looking forward to creating content about it on this blog as I have been doing for few years now, I think. As always, we are planning to plant a lot of veggies such as: potato, tomato, cucumbers, onions, garlic, carrots, parsley, cabbage, bell peppers, hot peppers, zucchini, green peas, spinach, chard, beetroot and more - I am pretty sure I am forgetting something. I am still not sure when we're going to start doing garden work, depends on the weather but no worries, I am ready to share all about it. :)

Thank you for reading and I would like to nominate goldenoakfarm@goldenoakfarm and jacobpeacock@jacobpeacock in case they want to share a garden related post for this month's challenge. See you in the next one!
