I'm a few days late with this post but I still wanted to officially welcome summer 2021!
It has been hella hot these days and even though I love summer, I am still in process of adapting to the crazy heat. I think I need to figure out the best hours of the days for doing stuff and being productive because lately I feel like a sloth, to be honest. I really like going to bed early and waking up early, no matter what season it is and my sleeping schedule is one of the things I am quite happy with lately so I'll try to keep it up that way. I guess I should use a few hours in the morning and evening as my productive time and leave afternoon for relaxing and/or doing stuff that don't really require a lot of focus and effort (maybe even take a power nap as I feel the most sluggish during this time).
I have been bad with making daily to-do lists lately and keeping up with my bullet journal in general which, I believe, is a big part of me being unproductive so today I make a short list with a few tasks, one of them being writing this post I've been putting of for a few days now. There's few more things I want to improve slowly such as my diet. It is a great time to do that since we have a garden full of seasonal fruits and veggies so I just have to make an effort to make a simple, healthy summer meal out of it.
Summer 2021 Bucket List
- make ice cream at home
- read 3 books
- go for an early bike ride
- journal
- try eyelash lift
These are some of the things I added on my bucket list for this season and I have a few more in my bullet journal. Since I don't have any big, exciting plans for summer, I will try to come up with some of the simple, mostly free things I can do to make it more fun and memorable. Of course, there are some things I want to do that didn't end up on this list such as keep making posts on Hive, especially the ones related to our family garden. Yesterday we set up our big pool that still needs to be cleaned a little bit and filled with water so this will be one of my favorite spots this summer. :)
