"MY CRYPTO JOURNEY"
Cryptocurrency is a digital asset that appreciates over time like lands or stocks. It is a form of money that has much value attached to it and in turn uses cryptography to secure transactions.
When I look back at the times I was ignorant of what the cryptocurrency space is all about, I just wish I could turn back the hands of time.
The crypto journey has been a bitter sweet experience for me. yea! It has been a sweet experience because I have a very close friend who knows virtually everything about cryptocurrency and has been so good in guiding and teaching me all that my small head can carry at a time in my cryptocurrency tutorials. At first, I thought he was just wasting his precious time looking at some green and red charts that he called "Candles" never knew he was "Trading" until he made over a thousand dollars from it and I was like wow! Guy show me the way na!
Trading is simply buying a coin at a low price and selling at a high price with the aim of making profit
It was more like I wasn't serious as at then, until he hit more dollars and more and more!😳 then I became serious with learning around April last year and ever since I have come to understand how the crypto space works. Never imagined that I could have some figures displayed on my phone screen and later convert them to my own currency and I will be seeing it live in my bank account. Through his guidance, I've been able to understand some cryptocurrency terms, how important it is to safeguard my wallet keys, the difference between "short term coin holdings and long term coin holdings" and I've made some reasonable amount of money from my short term coin holdings.
Just like the saying goes, "you make money with money" I wish I had a knowledge about the crypto space when I had enough spare money. I would have invested a whole lot and probably would be a young millionaire by now but I'm glad I discovered some Blockchain based social media blogging platforms like "STEEMIT" and "HIVE" These social media platforms has helped me in my crypto journey both in learning and investment. It's not been up to a year I joined the steemit platform, but just by writing original contents I've been able to invest more in my "steem power" than in my withdrawals, hopefully when the steem coin becomes $1 and above, I will become the young millionaire that I've always wished to be hahaha! And for the Hive platform, my journey just begun and I'm excited and ready to grab all the golden opportunities that this amazing platform has for me in my crypto journey.
About the bitter experience I've had in my crypto journey, I do not have any form of spare money to use for my crypto investment, so the little I had I used to make some "Trades" and in turn it yielded extra N60,000 for me. mehhn! That was around December last year and I had an asoebi to do for my friend's wedding. This is a wedding that I've long anticipated as to how peng and beautiful I will look and as you know it all involved a whole lot of cash. After I made my calculations for the asoebi budget I was seeing almost 100k as the expenses. I was confused at that moment because I wanted to invest again with what I got from my "Trades" and at the same time needed money to get all that I needed for the asoebi. Finally, I decided to use my money wisely by dividing the money into two; N30,000 for the asoebi and the remaining N30,000, I invested in a coin that was putting great testimonies in the mouth of every crypto investor as at then "WAKANDA INU COIN" subsequently I added extra N15,000 to buy more of the coins and unfortunately for me it started dropping in value and I didn't get my profit immediately cus I invested with the intention of a short term holding. But due to the bearish season(crypto market heavyweight crash) it has become my long term coin holding because I do not want to withdraw at loss. I know for sure that it will be fluctuating in value from this year till 2024 because we are in a bearish season. I don't bother checking through my wallets these days because the last time I checked, I nearly had a heartache😔 How can a coin that I bought for $90 be reduced to dust? seeing $9 in my wallet right now makes me weep and now I wish I used the whole money to buy more things that I needed for my friend's asoebi as I had to cut off some expenses for the wedding.
But just like my crypto friend always says "Crypto is not for the faint in heart but for those who have a diamond hand" I will not be faint nor weary in heart for my WAKANDA INU coin, I will hold it with my "diamond hands" for as long as the bear season lasts because one thing I know for sure is that a "bullish season" (Crypto market high green candles) must definitely come one day and then I can sell and make massive profits from my investment. This experience has been my own touch of that sentence that says "Hold on my sister, weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning"😅
This bitter part of my crypto journey will become sweet one day. it's just a matter of time I believe!
