1. If a slow-burning flame will be visible from the burned-through hose, turn off the cylinder valve. The amount of LPG escaping from the hose is regulated, as the gas regulator remains intact.
2. Turn off the cylinder valve with a glove covered hands. The flow of gas will stop. The fire should go out.
