I really love the crimson and magentas but this was looser than the other studies of the same subject. When I had to paint it on canvas, I had to decide what colors to use on some parts without it looking confusing.

I like working in a lot of layers since I hate having a thin layer of paint between the gesso and the final output lol.

I love how you can layer these magentas because they're transparent.

I don't want it to look too dark that it blends on the pants so I had to make it light like that. I like the flesh tones of this painting which is also quite symbolic but I don't wanna explain it for now. XD

2026} Making decisions is easier now for me just because I am consistent with painting. It's like the flow is good and everything becomes easier. In my previous painting, it took me quite a long time to decide on minuscule things even though I can just cover them up with another layer of paint if I didn't like it.
