I'm just here and seething because I can't seem to sleep at the moment, after seeing and posting in a thread on FB on the continuing fight for a living wage. I'm flabberghasted on most peoples' ignorance on what is happening, not just here in America, but all over the world. I don't understand how the majority of these people are actually condoning the rich just getting richer!! How do you not see the bigger picture? A CEO who already makes 7 figures doesn't need an expense account, on top of his salary. He doesn't need bonuses. Company paid cars, phones, vacation time shares. They have ENOUGH already!!!

You're going to argue with me that teenagers don't deserve $15 an hour when a date to the movies can run anywhere from $30-$50 depending where you are and if you brave the concession stand these days? Just going out to a fast food place costs an easy $20 just for 2 these days!!!
We have homelessness climbing ever upward and yet ALL of these people are just lazy, huh?
What about the ones who HAVE JOBS that just don't pay enough?
What about the ones who lost their great jobs due to downsizing, lay-offs, company shutdowns because they're sending our jobs overseas so they can evade taxes and pay even lower wages?
What about the older man who was a couple years from retirement getting 'let go' because the company doesn't want to guarantee his pension?
Some of you honestly need to look around. OPEN your eyes and see that Flint, MI STILL NOT HAVING CLEAN WATER AFTER 3!!! years is a third world problem. Homelessness is an issue because people got kicked out of their homes for not having enough money for their mortgage. Most of those homes remain EMPTY... It was done on purpose, but you aren't seeing it.
Apparently there are many adults out there who need to rewatch Disney's A Bug's Life. Even Disney get's it right once in a while...
