SURFERS IN BRAZIL

Brazil, what else can I say about this immense and varied country, with strong contrasts in nature and culture, one of the largest and most populated countries in the world, famous for its joy, its biodiversity, its wonderful and hospitable people, sometimes it may seem that everything is a party, and sometimes it is. Traveling along the Brazilian coast we had access to beaches that were not very crowded, some of them could only be reached by walking through the hills or sailing through the Atlantic Ocean, but without a doubt each and every one of them was special, it was what we imagined of the classic postcard of paradise, with white sands, the jungle that ends in the sea, huge rocks, fruits and animals everywhere. We went to this beach from Ubatuba on the coast of the state of Sao Paulo, we were alone most of the day, near the end of the afternoon some surfers came to the shore to challenge the perfect waves that the bay offered. So I took these pictures of some lonely surfers almost at sunset after a good session of waves, I took my 70-300mm telephoto lens and I could portray these images, with the lush Atlantic Forest in the background and some rays of light from a sun that was almost hidden, a special moment for all present, what a good life you can live on these beaches, it seems that you do not need much more than that and maybe that's how it is for some.

Brasil, que mas puedo decir de este país inmenso y tan variado, de fuertes contrastes en la naturaleza y en la cultura, uno de los países mas grandes y poblados del mundo, famoso por su alegría, su biodiversidad, su gente maravillosa y hospitalaria, si algunas veces puede parecer que todo es una fiesta, y aveces lo es.
Recorriendo el litoral brasileño accedimos a playas no muy concurridas, algunas solo alcanzables por caminatas entre los morros o por navegación por el océano Atlantico, pero sin dudas todas y cada una de ellas fueron especiales, era lo que imaginábamos de la clásica postal del paraíso, con arenas blancas, la selva que termina en el mar, enormes piedras, frutas y animales por todos lados.
Fuimos a esta playa desde Ubatuba en la costa del estado de Sao Paulo, estuvimos solos casi todo el día, cerca de fin de tarde algunos surfistas llegaron a las costas para desafiar las olas perfectas que regalaba la bahía.
Así fue que tome estas fotos de algunos surfistas solitarios casi al atardecer luego de una buena sesión de olas, tome mi teleobjetivo de 70-300mm y pude retratar estas imágenes, con la exuberante Mata Atlántica de fondo y algunos rayos de luz de un sol que casi se ocultaba, un momento especial para todos los presentes, que buena vida se puede vivir en estas playas, parece que no necesitas mucho mas que eso y tal vez así sea para algunos.
