What a season it has been so far. The ups and down. Wins and losses. The all-ins and all-outs. The excitement all starts on the site LuckSacks.com where the players of SPL all come to play SPL and Thursday League. Then the battle continues as the select battle it out on Poker Stars within the Pro Series. Who is dominating the leader boards? Whom are the biggest Donks around? Today completed another SPL Matchup. The result can be found here. What an excited match up. Us on the West Coast USA were up bright and early trying to see cards with fuzzy eyes. Thats probably why I went all-in with seven two off suit. I thought they were Aces for some reason.
This is the Sixth iteration of Poker Today for the SteemIt Poker League. In this issue, we will offer a comprehensive lineup of events, game schedules, and some recent news. Please read and support the other participants of the @SPL as well.
Also, there are certain qualifications to join each of these league so keep that in mind. One big thing about all of these leagues though is that you should make it very clear as to which SteemIt account you are linked to. It is important to keep people from having multiple accounts. This is ultimately cheating at its core.

Generic Leagues Rules:
There are few specific rules to be eligible to get paid out in SBD from winnings. First your steemit account must be over level 30 reputation on Steemit. You must have made an introduction post. And you use your @steemit-username in your profile on all sites.
The SteemIt Poker League (SPL) is a ten tournament league that started on Wednesday, June 21st. Though it is not too late to join. @tuck-fheman started this league on BluffAve.com but we are using the new site, as mentioned below, from now on. This is a freeroll league, just like all of other league games mentioned here. All you need to do is follow the rules and make sure to register for the tournament and show up. Follow @tuck-fheman and @spl for all up to date news.
Thursday's
In this week's Thursday Poker Tourney, there is 30 SBD guaranteed. It starts at 5PM CDT / 9PM UTC. Though the times are likely to change every week to accommodate different locations. The weekly games prize pool will be determined before tourney time depending on post payouts so make sure to upvote and support @chiefmappster. We will be using LuckSacks.com to play these from now on. To find out more and stay up to date please follow and keep an eye out for new posts by @chiefmappster .

Each player that applies will be screened carefully before being admitted. We are looking for people who are passionate about poker, play daily and just have a love for the game. If that's you, then we'll know it by your blog here on Steemit and you'll be allowed in. :)
