The other day, I shared a playlist of tunes to work on and thanks to some feedback from you good people on Hive, I prioritised a couple of tracks to work on.
This is what it sounded like as a really rough demo when I first shared it. The file was pretty raw still from the 2016 file and didn't leave too much to be desired:

Since then, I've filled out a bit more of the song to make it closer to 5 minutes and made the drop have a little more impact to keep the good vibes coming.
It's still a little raw and there's a lot more work to do here to get it up to the usual standard but wanted to share with you how my tunes progress so you get a better idea of what goes in to making the tracks.
If only there was a "make music" button with electronic music lol!

I'm thinking of adding an intro to make it a little more mix friendly, smooth out those transitions, add some effects, probably upgrade the percussions on the drums so they flow.
The instruments and synth sounds, I'm mostly happy with now and probably just a case of balancing them out with the volumes.
Of course, more cowbell lol
