Yes if they do then the FSCS is definitely a great safety net as every bank in the UK needs to have it. Will look out for your next update if that happens.

Not sure if the FSCS applies to crypto though but 6% interest on GBP is very decent and would look to put some away in there for a house, wherever that may be! Steem and BTC would have to moon big time if I wanted to afford a place in the UK in the next 5 years haha.
